Michael Turner
President & CEO
Michael Turner joined Alert Logic in early 2007 to lead the company's further growth and penetration into new markets. Turner is an experienced start-up executive, with multiple successes growing early stage companies to market leadership positions and profitability. Most recently, he was Executive VP for NetQoS, where he was responsible for Marketing, Sales, Product Development and Business Development. Turner is currently on the Board of Directors of NetQoS.
Misha Govshteyn
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Misha Govshteyn is co-founder and is responsible for security strategy, security research and operations at Alert Logic. Prior to founding Alert Logic, Govshteyn served as a Director of Managed Services for Reliant Energy Communications. In this role, he developed and successfully launched five major product lines including Managed Intrusion Detection services and managed enterprise firewall/VPN products.
Steve Coffey
Director
Steve Coffey joined the Hunt family of companies in 1993. In August 1999, Coffey established the Austin office of Hunt Ventures, where he manages investments in software, semiconductors and communications. Prior to joining Hunt Ventures, Coffey was Vice President of Hunt Financial Corporation, where he evaluated and managed investments in public equities, private equity and venture capital partnerships and direct investments in both early stage technology companies and buyouts.
Blair Garrou
Director
Blair Garrou is Managing Director of DFJ Mercury. Prior to DFJ Mercury, Garrou led the sale of Houston-based software firm Intermat to IHS, Inc. He joined Intermat as its CEO after leading the leveraged buyout which took the company private from MRO Software in January 2003.
Carter Griffin
Director
Carter Griffin is a Partner at Updata Partners in the Reston, Virginia office and joined the firm in early 2005. Prior to joining Updata Partners, Griffin co-founded Brivo Systems in 1999 and served as Chairman and CEO until selling the company to a unit of Duchossois Enterprises Group in December 2004.
Vince Rossi
Director
Vince Rossi brings more than 15 years of private and public company security industry experience to the AlertLogic board. His extensive background in the security technology industry includes his most recent position as the CEO of St Bernard Software, a publicly traded internet security company. Prior to St Bernard, Mr. Rossi was the Sr VP of Product Management and Product Marketing for McAfee.
Gray Hall
Director
Gray Hall's most recent position was founder and CEO of VeriCenter, a leading managed hosting, collocation and IT outsourcing provider that was acquired by Sungard. Hall's technology industry experience also includes IBM, where he led the formation of the IBM Center for Scalable Computing Solutions and the U.S. Department of Energy, where he led the formation of the DOE Distributed Computing Center.
